SwipeOut is a Chrome extension that helps you clean up your Google Photos library by swiping through photos — left to delete, right to keep. It runs entirely in your browser on photos.google.com.
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This is used solely to authenticate you and manage your subscription.
Usage data: We track your daily swipe count to enforce free tier limits. For Pro users, we store a session bookmark (the URL of the last photo you reviewed) so you can resume where you left off.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
SwipeOut operates as a content script on photos.google.com. It reads the photo thumbnails already visible on the page to display them in the swipe interface. When you confirm deletions, it interacts with the Google Photos UI to move items to trash — the same action as if you deleted them manually. Your photos never leave Google's servers.
Account and subscription data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the United States. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser via Chrome's extension storage API.
Your account data is retained while you have an active account. If you uninstall the extension or request deletion, we will remove your data from our servers within 30 days.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@swipeout.xyz.
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the extension or this page.
